LORD ,HELP ME TO BE GRATEFUL..!

Eph 5:20

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20 NIV)

1Sam 2:9

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. (1 Samuel 2:9 KJV)

1-Acknowledge that You deserve nothing.... Absolutely nothing and yet He has been so good to you. 

Paul 1 Cor 15:10

David - it was His mercy. 

2- Always ask Him to help you to do all things in working out your salvation without grumbling,without that emotional discontent,& without intellectual disputing. Phillip 2:13.

Stop mauling, grumbling, complaining, anxious, afraid, scared about issues. 

Start commanding
.

3- When things are difficult, turn to prayer, the word,& praising Him.

In that , you find the purpose for which you are created. 

Gal 2:21 don't frustrate grace , & do not be frustrated out of the grace of God. 

4-Get the understanding that you became born again by your complete surrendering & submission to the will of God.

Rom 10:8-13

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Romans 10:8-13 NKJV)

As a result, God will always return to your situation & honour your life , family & endeavors with full blessings in Jesus ' powerful name. 

5-Praise & worship are the backbone of Christian living.

Do you know what it means to worship, appreciate, express gratitude to the King  of kings, Lord of lords, our creator, maker, redeemer, .............

No study,no good deeds,no ritual - has depth of meaning apart from praise & worship. 

Let God's word guide us into a more perfect experience with the Lord. 

Ps 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalms 100:4 NKJV)

6-What's the worth of our God to you? 

Express it with your heart, mouth, emotion, body, substance , talents, gifts, materials etc.

Show much love. 

Show much & unreserved appreciation 

Return & come to Him with your best 

He deserves even more than your best.

Give to Him in quality & quantity. 

Rev4:11

“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:11 NKJV)

So our art of appreciation, gratitude involves sacrificial giving

Ps 50:5

“Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” (Psalms 50:5 NKJV)

Abraham worshipped the Lord with His Isaac - LAUGHTER. 

7- Worship costs something! It involves sacrifice, giving something of value to God.

1 chron 16:29

Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! (I Chronicles 16:29 NKJV)

Where is your Laughing substance ( the best ; the fattest of your cows,produce, gifts etc)? Bring an offering before the Lord.........

Worship could cost you probably your most precious & treasured possession! 

Certainly God will require that you lay on the altar anything that is more important to you than He is ...............anything that comes between you & God.

David said ,in psalms103:1

Bless the Lord ,O my soul

Gen 22:5,8,14

And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”

And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

And Abraham called the name of the place, The- LORD -Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” (Genesis 22:5, 8, 14 NKJV)

Notice that when Abraham willingly placed his son on the altar, the lad was spared. 

God provided another, more suitable sacrifice. 

And He will do the same for you.

Once you have given Him your all, your everything, He will give you back those treasures which can be used in His service. 

Our God is excellent in working. 

Our God is mighty to deliver.

Glory be to God forevermore.

Our God is wonderful in counsel.

In our God is wisdom, understanding, & STRENGHT .

Let us endeavor to sing the word- let our songs say, the right thing.- that they are solidly based on God's word. 

This is to,practice His presence.

The Holy Spirit will not move through a song that is based on error. 

Ensure your songs has scriptural foundations. 

Sing the truth

Remember that God - given word songs can also be powerful weapons of warfare for us to use. 

In 2 Chron 20:21-22

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever.” Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. (II Chronicles 20:21-22 NKJV)

2 Cor 10:3-4

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, (II Corinthians 10:3-4 NKJV)
