Divine favour
Rom 9:10-16.
And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. (Romans 9:10-16 NKJV)
God chose us after the order of Jacob.
What is favour ?
-Divine veto,
-divine choice for good that remove sweat.
-It distinguishes you for result without sweat.
-Luke 2:52 Jesus grew in wisdom + Favour
-Favour was one of the pre requisite for achievement for Jesus.. Acts10:38.
Gen 39:21
But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. (Genesis 39:21 NKJV)
Joseph obtained Favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Joseph for a coat of many colours,out of many sons.he was not the first or the last son, nor the only child of the father. Or mother.
-Hard work or labour without favour ends with nothing.
Ex3:21 And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed. (Exodus 3:21 NKJV)
and I will give this people Favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass,that,when ye go,ye shall not go empty. Fulfilled in Exodus12:36.
And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians. (Exodus 12:36 NKJV)
Diligence is good work not hard work.
Eccl 9:10-11.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:10-11 NKJV)
God loads us with peculiar grace to be channels of favour.
-Once favour comes , everything I attempt works.
##### O Lord,make me a channel of unlimited Favour.
#####OLord, grant me life & unlimited Favour in the name of Jesus.
#####OLord, settle me with your Favour& let my struggles be over.
Where does Favour come from?
James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17 NKJV)

Abraham & his descendants . Gen12:2-3
Moses. Acts7:10,

Esther . Esther5:1-9 .

Receive grace for favour & sweatlessnes
Note these for unlimited Favour:
1- Favour brings gift: often times more than enough

Then you shall go on forward from there and come to the terebinth tree of Tabor. There three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you, one carrying three young goats, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine. And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall receive from their hands. (I Samuel 10:3-4 NKJV)

2-Favour singles you out. Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Jesus .
3-.favour protects& preserves .

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12 NKJV)
4-The normal consequence of favour is envy.
Joseph never applied for a dream.
5-Favour brings colour to life .
ps 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30:5 NKJV)
6-Favour delivers divine inheritance. Ps44:1-3 ., deut1:6-11.
7-Favour establishes distinction

8-Favour provides abundance

9-Favour makes everything to work to your advantage.- all things will work for your good.
10. Favour brings you to the realm of divine possibilities.

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor,.....(Proverbs 11:27a NKJV)
12.favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
Prov 16:15b
In the light of the king’s face is life, (b)And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain. (Proverbs 16:15 NKJV)
13-Favour refreshes as dew upon the grass.
prov19:12b .
The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, (b)But his favor is like dew on the grass. (Proverbs 19:12 NKJV)
####OLord, Favour me without limits, in the name of Jesus.
####OLord, take away my reproaches; Favour me for life.
How do i cultivate Favour:
You need to position yourself for it.-
1 cor 15:41 moon ,sun & stars.
There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. (I Corinthians 15:41 NKJV)
1. Have the working knowledge of God's word : prov 13:15
Good understanding gains favor, But the way of the unfaithful is hard. (Proverbs 13:15 NKJV)
e.g. Lk 4:16 always go to church,
Heb 7:7 you give to the grace & anointing you covet/ desire.
mal 1:6-9
“A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’ “You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying, ‘The table of the LORD is contemptible.’ And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the LORD of hosts. “But now entreat God’s favor, That He may be gracious to us. But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Prov14:35 the king's Favour is toward a wise servant: but His wrath is against him that causeth shame.
2. Be kind I.e be merciful. Mat 5:5, to people.
Ps112:5a A good man shows Favour .
Prov11:27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth Favour
Kindness is a magnet to favour.
3. Serve God with your talents.
God will bless you with sweatlessness.
Ps 31 :16,21
Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies’ sake.
Blessed be the LORD, For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city! (Psalms 31:16, 21 NKJV)
4. Believe in Favour; in the Favour of God.
I am blessed because I believe in favour of God.
ps 102:13-You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.
ps 31:21.
5. Confess it : by attesting , affirming , & acknowledging it.
